Ughhhhh (Digital Media images cont.)

Finally finished printing my stuff for digital media today....only i went there to print at 12 after going grocery shopping....and i didnt get to print till 8...i waited 8 hours to print for 1/2 an hour....the kicker is there was only 4 people infront of me...so 4 people took 8 hrs total and i took 1/2 an hour....gahhhhhhhh

i dont think ill get to print the image i take tomorrow, its ok though, i printed a different one to take its place, and i dont want to go in there and have to wait behind the people still waiting to print...there were still like 8 to 10 people on the list after me...wonder how long they will be there....or what they will do when the library is closed and they run out of ink and need more....oh well, not my problem...

today began a verrry busy week too, 10 images are due tuesday morning...need to do some stuff for pro prac on thurs, mid-review in studio on friday followed by a lecture from like 6-8...and have to work on thurs and fri morning....hopefully the weekend i can get to relax...anyays...

Waterfire Trip

So went to waterfire tonight so i could take picture for one of my 10 images for digital media...have 7 done now, plan on uploading later...probably tuesday after its all due...but the trip to prov was pretty interesting, ton of traffic on the way in so i wasnt sure if i was gonna get there in time to get some of the shots i wanted...it ended up working out...got to the spot i wanted before it was completely dark, took some shots and went back to the spot later and took more. Tonight they were doing a breast cancer awareness waterfire, there was a ceremony at the capital building which was lit up in pink, as were a number of other buildings around waterplace park...but after the ceremony, there was a procession of people, cancer survivors im guessing, carying torches down from the capital to waterplace park starting the waterfire...took some more photos and left shortly after that, but i put in a photo of the capital building i took...

Rainy Saturday

so went on a field trip on saturday for my hist of landscape arch class...we went to a topiary garden and to the elms in newport...only problem was that it poured all day...i was soaked...through my jacket and sweatshirt...camera got pretty wet too but managed to make it though with no problems there...the first image is from the topiary garden the second is looking down into the 'secret garden' at the Elms, you can see how hard it was raining...well not really, but you can see the rain in the image...and the third is a picture that i thought was cool, its taken under a huge weeping beech tree behind the Elms and the forth is the back of the Elms
